below is some of my metalworking projects that i completed during my time studying at Parsons.

  1. "Wrought Iron Sconce" was my final for my metal fabrication class I took in the fall of 2024. It involved a singular piece of flat stock which I cut into strips and crudely blacksmithed into swirls. I gave it to my mother.
  2. "Blacksmithing Test" was one of my first times trying to make scrolls from a thicker stock, three-eighths
  3. "Injection Candelabra" was the final project for my studio class in the fall of 2024 where I designed a candelabra that held my estradiol valerate, to be used during my injection process. It was unfortunately 3D printed as our teachers did not encourage us to fabricate during that semester.
  4. "Shell Motif Necklace" is a necklace I cut from a sheet of nickle silver. The imagery is taken from Yoichirō Hirase's book Shell Motifs.
  5. "Hollow Signet Ring" is a ring i hammered and soldered from a sheet of nickle silver. It is completely hollow. I gave it to my ex-boyfriend.
  6. "Copper Bells" are apart of a project I was working on, but unfortunately never finished, that was a set of utensils that had bells fixed to them and sung while you ate. I hope I can finish this sometime in the future.
  7. "Sterling Silver Pin" was one of the first things I made from sterling silver. The imagery is of the dots-and-lines surrounding my project devotional shrine. I gave it to my roommate.
  8. "Spiculum Bracelet" was a sterling silver bracelet I made that was hammered from a very thin, 26 gauge, sheet. It is also completely hollow. I gave it to my sister.
